OBEDIENCE, EVEN IN LITTLE THINGS ( Part 2)

SONG

Where He leads me. I'll follow

Where He leads I'll follow

Where He leads I'll follow. Where He leads me I'll follow. Follow Jesus everywhere.

TEXT

"His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it" - John  2:5

Obedience brings miracles!

Jesus performed his first miracle in the marriage at Cana of Galilee. The miracle was the result of His  disciples obeying His instructions. Our obedience to God's Word opens the door for us  to see His power made manifest in our lives. The Scripture says, “If we are willing and obedient, we will eat the good of the land.” - Isa 1:19. In other words, we’ll experience God’s abundant blessing when we follow His commands.

Walking in obedience to God’s

commands serves to put you in charge of circumstances because His Word is ladden with power and authority to accomplish what it talks about. Peter, for instance, by merely obeying Christ's command walked on water, like the Master.

"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus" - Matthew 14:29.

Obedience is our gateway to the

realm of answers without prayers. It

commits God to act on our behalf and in our favour. In the matter of the blind man, he did not need to pray to get his healing; rather, all he had to do was to obey the Lord's command.

"And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. - John  9:7.

If you will carefully trace some events of your life, you will notice that certain things had happened  without you praying for them. This is more probably so because you had earlier on responded in obedience to a commandment of God; or rather, to the instructions of the Holy Spirit

Obedience brings about blessings. As we commit to obeying God, our lives will experience tremendous blessings from God.

PRAYER

Father, I humbly come to You submitting every area of my life to You. Teach me to obey every little bit of your Word in the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
