WHO ARE YOU WHEN NO MAN SEES YOU?

SONG

You can not hide it from God

You can not hide it from God

You may cover your sins, that no one else may know

But, you can not hide it from God

TEXT

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him..." - 2Chr.16.9.

This is a question that every true child of God should try to give an answer to.

There is a common saying today that “what you do in your private life is nobody’s business.”  Well, it actually is. What you do in your private life behind closed doors or out of view of other people, reveals your true character. Yet, God sees it just as clearly as the things you do in public. You can not hide anything from the big Eye of God. In fact, the small things you do which are unseen by anyone are not out of the view of the Almighty God whose eyes search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them

God is seeking faithful people because He wants to bless them. He wants to show His love through His great power. Our faithfulness is the key to unlocking His blessing in our lives. Are you such a one?  Can God zero on you for His blessing?

Looking at the Old Testament, we see quite a number of people that proved themselves worthy of God’s blessing in their generations. Although their generations lived contrary to God's Word and ways, yet these men were found faithful and worthy of God’s recommendations.

The Bible has this to say about  Noah: ..."Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God." - Gen.6.9.

Noah and his family maintained their integrity in the midst of a corrupt and wicked generation.

Joseph was in a no man's land, far away from home, far away from all his acquaintances, his parents, brothers and sisters, Pastor, Sunday teachers, friends and neighbors. In fact no one knew him in Egypt, yet he maintained his integrity before his God. Hear his words to Potiphar's wife:

"No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” - Genesis 39:9

David was in the bush all alone with his father's flock, he did what was pleasing in the sight of God. Any sheep that was devoured by a wild animal was properly accounted for.

God, the all-seeing was taking record of these men, their character, disposition and faithfulness; for your Integrity shows your faithfulness. The Bible says that,

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”  Luke 16:10.

These men were greatly differentiated and rewarded in their generations. God rewards faithfulness. Noah and his family were spared from the flood that destroyed the whole world.

Joseph became the second in command in the land of Egypt because of his righteousness.

David became the second king of the people of Israel.

Are you faithful in what you are doing right now? Can God depend on you to represent Him well in your office, school, marriage, neighborhood and many more?

PRAYER

Search me O Lord and see, if there is any unfaithfulness and righteousness in me. Put me aright that I might experience your great power and blessings in Jesus Mighty name.
