TEXT
Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” - (First Peter chapter 1 verse 2)
The present situation we find ourselves in this country and in the word at large is such that without the grace of God we may result in total despair.
Thank God Almighty for making His grace available to His children. It will be to our advantage not to neglect this grace but to accept it with the whole of our hearts.
The Bible says, "the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." (Titus chapter 2 verse 11)
The Message Translation Bible has it thus: "God's readiness to give and forgive is now public. Salvation's available for everyone!”
This is to say that our God is in readiness to forgive any sinner that comes to Him seeking forgiveness and He is ready also to make available whatever he or she asks from Him.
Everyone will agree with me that we need grace at every moment of our lives. The grace that brings salvation is available to everyone, not to any special class of people. This is to mean that the same grace touches every single area of our being. It is available to keep, to support, and to uphold us in the faith. The Lord is not prepared to leave us graceless for one moment. Should He do so, it would seem as if He's left us for so long.
God doesn’t want us to be deficient in grace in any area of our lives. The Bible says, "And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all." (Acts chapter 4 verse 33)
Great grace was upon the apostles to do exploits for the Master. It takes grace to believe, grace to hope, grace to love, grace to fight, and grace to conquer, grace to stand, grace to live, and grace to die in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
How do we get more of this grace? This can be done through the knowledge of God and of His Son, Jesus Christ..
"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord," ( Second peter chapter 1 verse 2)
Let us go for the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ, His Son.
PRAYER:
Thank You Heavenly Father for the grace that has been made available for my salvation and also for daily living, in Jesus name.
