DON'T GIVE UP, GLORIOUS DAYS ARE COMING!

TEXT:

"The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: ... " ( Psalms 138 stanza 8)

Upon searching the Holy Scriptures, l came to understand that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8 verse 28).

It's because you are called according to HIS PURPOSE that God takes care to ensure that you are fashioned in a manner not only to fulfill that purpose, but also to represent Him adequately well. His fashioning process is one we have no perfect understanding of! What's more, such a fashioning process may not be palatable. That being so, we just wait on Him and trust Him to see us through!

Child of God, don't be moved by trials & persecutions, for according to Scriptures, we have been appointed thereunto (1st Thessalonians 3 verse 3), we are to take pleasure in them (2nd Corinthians 12 verse 10), we are to endure them (2nd Thessalonians 1 verse 4 and 2nd Timothy 3 verse 11) and through them, we enter into His Kingdom (Acts 14 verse 22).

In actual fact, they form part of our experience in Him! The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow; so, don't give up, neither give in! Move on in faith, patience and hope and surely, God will give you a testimony soon, in Jesus name.

If God gave the saints of old and other people around you testimonies, why on earth do you think that there's no hope for you? If He met with them who's cases were of worse magnitude than yours, why wouldn't you consider your case settled? Do you think that the Lord will break the sanctity of His Holy and Just nature to lie to you? Friend, know that with the Lord, there's no deception. Hear what the Scriptures say of Him: "... let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." (Romans 3 verse 4). God is True/Truth (John 8 verse 26, 14 verse 6). "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Numbers 23 verse 19) Again, Job tells us that God "... performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him." (Job 23 verse 14).

I'm writing to inform someone reading this devotional this morning to be expectant, for glorious days are coming and this will happen very soon. Your waiting and patience are about to be rewarded, in Jesus' mighty name.

PRAYER:

Dearest Heavenly Father, I believe and trust you to fulfill my expectations very soon and in a glorious manner, in Jesus name.
