TEXT

"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people." (Psalms chapter 113 stanzas 7 to 8)

There are some peculiar attributes that our God is known for, and these have greatly differentiated Him from all other deities. Amongst other things, He is an unchangeable Changer, and an immovable Mover, He is Greater than the greatest  Higher than the highest, the Alpha and Omega, He is Jehovah over do, I can go on and on.

From age to age He has never changed in these attributes. He specializes in raising the poor from the dust to princely and enviable positions.

Our verse for the day says, "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill. That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people..."

This is exactly Who God is; He raises up the poor and sets him in a princely position. He makes a nobody to become somebody

This sounds encouraging to you who might be going through some kind of disheartening situation which might have resulted in humiliation and degradation. You don't have to give up on God. There is hope for you, my dear child of God. With God, whenever there is humiliation, there is the promise of an exaltation. Again, when men desert you at the time that you are down, don't worry, they shall be back to celebrate you at the time of exaltation. Do yourself some favor and expect the moment of exaltation in your life. Never consign yourself to permanent lowliness and degradation. Let your confession line up with what the Bible says in the book of Job chapter 22 verse 29, "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person." Confess always that there's a lifting up for you and you sure will experience it, in Jesus name.

Among other things, the Bible is a catalog of men who were nobody at a time, but God made them to become somebody in the end. He brought them from places of humiliation to the positions of exaltation, opulence and glory.

He raised Joseph from the dungeon of Egypt and set him as a prince, even with the princes of the land, and also made him great before his brothers. Hallelujah! The Bible says of him, "Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.... And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. ... " (Genesis chapter 41 verses 14; 40 to 41). Someone reading this devotional message this morning is about to receive a glorious change of circumstances, in Jesus name. I'm sure it's you I'm talking about.

Jesus called ordinary fishermen, and they became renowned people in their generations, even up till now their testimonies are being spoken of. What brought them to their enviable testimonies was their calling in Christ. The Bible says, "And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew chapter 4 verse 19)

Are you a true child of God?  Understand that you have also been called into Christ. Understand also and believe that God can do all things. With these in mind, your case is settled. I want to announce to you that your despairing situation has come to an end now, in Jesus name. Also, your testimony is springing forth without delay, in Jesus' Mighty name.

PRAYER

Thank You Heavenly Father for turning around my situation and giving me a resounding testimony in Jesus' Mighty name
