DON'T GIVE UP, GLORIOUS DAYS ARE COMING!

"The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: ... " - Ps 138:8

Upon searching the Holy Scriptures, l came to understand that all things work together for the good of them that love God and of them that are the called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28).

It's because you are called according to HIS PURPOSE that God takes care to ensure that you are fashioned in a manner not only to fulfil that purpose, but also to represent Him adequately well. His fashioning process is one we have no perfect understanding of! We just wait on Him and trust Him to see us through!

Child of God, don't be moved by trials & persecutions, for we have been appointed thereunto (1Thess 3:3), we take pleasure in them (2 Cor 12:10), we endure them (2 Thess. 1:4; 2 Tim. 3:11) and through them, we enter into His Kingdom (Acts 14:22).

In actual fact, they form part of our experience in Him! The struggle you are in today is developing the strenght you need for tomorrow; so, don't give up, neither give in! Move on in faith, patience and hope and God will give you a testimony in Jesus name.

If God gave the saints of old and other people around you testimonies, why on earth do you think that there's no hope for you? If He met with them who's cases were of worse magnitude or scenario, why wouldn't you consider yours settled? Do you think that the Lord will break the sanctity of His Holy and Just nature to lie to you. Friend, with the Lord, there's no deception. Hear what the Scriptures say of Him: "... let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." - Rom 3:4. God is True/Truth (Jn 8:26, 14:6). "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Num 23:19) Again, Job tells us that God "... performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him." (Job 23:14).

I'm writing to inform someone reading this devotional this morning to be expectant, for glorious days are coming and that very soon. Your waiting and patience are about to be rewarded, in Jesus mighty name.

Have a wonderful day!

PRAYER

Dearest Heavenly Father, I believe and trust you to fulfill my expectations very soon and in a glorious manner, in Jesus name.
