YOU NEED THE WORD AT A TIME AS THIS.

SONG

Your Word is yea and amen,

I found it yea and amen.

TEXT

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." (Joshua chapter 1 verse 8)

The ministry of the Word is very important in our lives at a time like this in our country Nigeria and in the world at large. The word of God gives us hope, builds up our faith, brings us deliverance, brings us success, and at the same time, it gives us victory over every circumstance of life. In other words, the Word of God is integral to every success in our Christian lives. It is the only readily available good news that one can lay hands upon at any time. This is in direct contrast to what the world offers, such as news of wars, earthquakes, landslides, kidnapping, floods, and so on.

Thank God the Bible says of us in the Book of John chapter17 verse 16  "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

Of a truth, we are in the world but we’re not subject to the principles and the dictates of this world.

The knowledge of the Word makes us stand firm and unmovable by whatever is happening in the world around us. By the Word, we  are confident that no matter what  happens, we’re more than conquerors, overcomers, and victors (Romans  chapter 8 verse 37).

Therefore we need to avail ourselves of the privilege of having the Word of God, Christian books/materials, especially the various daily devotionals that are at our disposal on a daily basis, so that we can receive strength to stand in the days we currently are in. The Bible says in Psalms 119 stanza 105,

"Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."  Let us therefore allow the Word of God to guide us as light through darkness, and also to instruct us on a daily basis.

  PRAYER

Thank You Heavenly Father for giving us Your Word, it is our anchor at this moment of our lives, in Jesus name.
