YOU CAN REFRAME YOUR WORLD! (PART 1)
TEXT:
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1 verse 3, King James Version).
All things were made by the Word of God and nothing was made without the Word! In our Scripture reading for today, the pronoun "he" refers to the Lord Jesus, Who is God's Word personified. Jesus is the Living Word of God. According to Scriptures, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:" (Colossians 1 verse 16; see also John 1 verse 10, Psalms 33 verse 6 and 1st Corinthians 8 verse 6)).
As believers, we do not only have Jesus, "the Word made flesh", by Whom "all things consist", we have also the written Word at our disposal. (See John 1 verse 14, Colossians 1 verse 17). The Bible says that "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11 verse 3). In other words, we have been given to know and understand here that it was through faith that the world was framed by God's Word. Another thing to understand here is "that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear "; but by the Word of God. Another way of saying this is that the created things we see were not made or framed by things that are manifest, but simply by God's Word.
This is to mean that the Word of God has creative ability and as we are informed in Hebrews 11 verse 3, like God, you can frame your world with it. All you need is to do so "through faith" as God did. In this regard, the joyful thing is that we all possess the requisite faith to do so, because for this purpose and more, "God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." (Romans 12 verse 3).
Be careful therefore what you speak. Whether you speak words filled with faith or fear, you are invariably framing your world and that's what you will have to live with. The reason for this is that words transmit whatever they mean. Should you constantly speak God's Word, and incessantly proclaim His promises over your life's problems, they'll go to create an image in your spirit that will eventually rise to dominate whatever may be your life's situation or problem, more so when you don't give up. It's imperative to our success in life therefore, to learn to speak Scriptural promises that will in turn serve to create images after their kind in your spirit.
With this, it's certain that no adverse situation in life can rise to defeat you. Truth is, once you have imaginations formed in your spirit, they become unassailable, inviolable and sacrosanct; so much so that it will take even the Omnipotent God some extra efforts to counter them (See Genesis 11 verses 6 to 9).
Everyone's prayer is to have God's will perfected in his life. Using God's Word therefore, to create images in your spirit and using them to frame your life is tantamount to making your life to align with God's will for your life. This is the way to have the best of life to live.
PRAYER:
Thank You Father for the possibility to reframe my world by Your Word. As I take advantage of this opportunity, my life will not remain the same, in Jesus name.
