TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

SONG

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

All other ground is sinking sand,

All other ground is sinking sand.

TEXT

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

The first part of this message was published on the 12th of January 2023. I feel the need of bringing forth the second part of the message for the purpose of having a better dose of what God has for us.

From the Scripture above; God never asks us to figure things out on our own. He just asks us to trust Him, to recognize His Leadership and Sovereignty in our lives and He promises to make everything good unto us.

We may not always see what's ahead, but He does. The future may look so gloomy or uncertain to us, or perhaps worry keeps occupying too much room in our minds; remember this: God is the One that has lived through all eternity. He is already in all of our tomorrow. He knows our ways, and He has plans for each and everyone of us; great plans for that matter. Hallelujah 🙌.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" - Jer.29.11

Every believer has to learn to trust and wait on the Lord to the very end

What the verse above is saying in other words, is that we be confident in the Lord and not trust in any other means or ways,

In all our ways, it is expedient that we know and recognize Him. It will amaze us that He will make everything pleasing, and smooth for us (see Proverbs 3:5-6)

There’s great gain in trusting in the Lord and relying solely on Him, not on our circumstances or other people, not on ourselves, or on our own ways of thinking.

God is faithful to lead us unto the big picture He has set ahead of us. In times of obscurity and darkness, He brings clarity and light to lead us through.

He knows what’s around the other side of the bend where we can’t fully see. His timing is perfect even when we start to feel like we’ve been forgotten. No matter how we feel or what our current situation may be, we can be confident that God’s Presence will go before us, paving out pathways, guiding and guarding our steps.

  What do you need to trust God for this year? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you, guard and protect your heart and to keep you from unnecessary worry. Pray Him to fill you afresh and give you wisdom to hold on to His Truth.

PRAYER

Dear Holy Spirit, I beseech you to fill my heart with your presence and help me to lean solely on you, in all my ways, in Jesus name. 🙏 🙏 🙏
