YOUR FAITH WITH A CORRESPONDING ACTION.

SONG :

He has promised. He will never fail

I will follow, I will follow Him. He has promised He will never fail. His faithfulness is forever more. His faithfulness is forever more.

TEXT :

Jas.1.22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Jas.2.20 - But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Knowing God and trusting Him are the two key elements of deep faith.

The Bible says faith without works is dead. Faith goes along with the demonstrating action.

We shall be looking at these two personalities (Daniel and the woman with the issue of blood)

DANIEL 1:1-20.

Dan.1.8 - But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel, who was part of the Israelite nobilities that were taken into captivity in Babylon apparently learned about the Lord from a young age.

While he was in captivity, his words and actions demonstrated that he knew the Scriptures and chose to obey God rather than obey man, no matter who the man was and whatever position he occupied.

Daniel's life was defined by his obedience to God's commandment.

When offered a meal from the king's table, knowing well that it was incompatible with the dietary laws, he took a great risk by requesting other food.

In verse 9, we see that God caused the official to show favor to him.

Verse 15, also showed the faithfulness of God unto His servants. They were fairer than the others. Hallelujah 🙌

Like Daniel, we are to spend our lives learning and carrying out what pleases our heavenly Father.

Daniel had unshakeable faith. His trust in the Lord sustained him when he was uprooted from his home, taken into captivity, and sent to a foreign country. It strengthened him as he served under several kings and faced many challenges.

Your corresponding action to the Word of faith you have heard is what sets the pace for supernatural intervention.

Likewise was the woman with the issue of blood ( Mathew 9:20-22).

Matt.9.21 - For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

She had heard so much about Jesus. Moved by faith, she said in her heart, “If I may but touch the hem of His garment, I shall be made whole.”But she did not stop there. She went further by making her way through the press. What a great risk she took to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment? With this, the switch for the miraculous was turned loose! Virtue, the omnipotent power of faith began to flow, and her shame ended instantly!

NOTE: Faith does not leave you with only what to recite or confess, but also with what to do.

Faith is not just cheap talk; Faith is a great act! Faith is working the Word of God.This is where, I believe, many of us are missing it. We have reduced this great weapon to cheap talks. Now, everybody is saying it, but almost nobody is doing anything to prove what he or she is saying.

The faith of the woman with the issue of blood drew virtues out of Jesus.

Let your faith accompanied with actions draw your miracle from the throne of Heaven.

God is ever in the business of doing good unto His covenant children, like you.

PRAYER

Father Lord, I thank you for all you have done for me. By faith in you, I possess all your promises to me, in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏 🙏 🙏
