TRIUMPHANT LIFE IN CHRIST
"Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, ..." - 2 Corinthians 2:14
The Bible tells us clearly that Jesus came, spoiled principalities and powers, and made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15). It's important that we know that Jesus did not do this for Himself, but for us (Romans 5:8; Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 5:2); Titus 2:14). He saw that we were at the mercy of the devil and his cohorts; so He came to defeat the enemy for us that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
As a child of God, you have to understand and be conscious also of the fact that at Christ's Cross, you lost your weak, powerless and natural life in exchange for that of the resurrected, powerful and supernatural life of Jesus, the Son of God (Galatians 2:20). There, you died with Him. It is no more you living, but Christ living in you (Colossians 1:27; Galatians 2:20). It's an exchange of life. Imagine, the Greater One now lives in you, making you to overcome always (1John 4:4). You have the Conqueror and the Triumphant One now on the inside of you, living His conquering and triumphing life in and through you; hallelujah! This is the true picture of things as they pertain to you, my friend.
In consequence thereof, we are instructed by the infallible scriptures to give thanks to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). I pray that you experience that victory in Christ Jesus today over all of your life's challenges, in Jesus name.
Have a wonderful day.
