THE PARADOX OF LIFE
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.Proverbs 11:24 KJV
The GNB translation says some people spend their money freely and still grow richer. Others are cautious, and yet grow poorer.
In this Life, harvest is possible only when you accept to part with your seeds. You part by either scattering it like rice or you plant the seed. It is only when you do that, that you expect a harvest. That is the natural order. You don't get much fruit because you keep the seed and you don't want to part with the seeds.
The wise man says some people spend their money freely and still get richer. For whatever you sow you reap even much more than what you sowed
Being stingy doesn't add anything rather it invites poverty. Remember that whatever you have is given to you by God for the service of humanity. If you withhold blessings from other people, how do you get blessed?
God keep an open door before you, so that you can be a blessing to other people. Identify those in need and reach out to them, even of you don't have enough. The only way to financial breakthrough is by meeting other people's financial needs.
God gave his all for us the result of which is you and I. We are the bounty of his harvest. Jesus gave up his life so as to save the world 🌎. As steward of God's resources, how do we respond to those around us, who are genuinely in need of help. Do we become selfish and greedy thinking that those who do not have should go try?
How can you cultivate generosity today?
- By buying a meal for someone
- By giving 10% of my income to God each month
- By donating my time and money to a non- profit I care about.
PRAYER:
FATHER GRANT ME THE HEART TO SCATTER SO THAT I CAN BE A BLESSING TO MY GENERATION IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN
