THE BLESSED HOPE AND THE GLORIOUS APPEARING OF JESUS CHRIST

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" - Titus 2:11-13

      Like in the days of king Belshazzar (Daniel 5:1-5), the handwriting of the end times and the promised second coming of Jesus is on the wall! You do not need a prophet to tell you that God's wrath is soon to be released upon man for sins. Look around you, friend and you will see wickedness and hatred all over!

     So it was in the days of Noah! Whilst Noah was busy preparing himself and his family against the impending doom that God had threatened his generation with, the men of the day were ungodly and felt not concerned about God and His word! The result we know, as the bible tells us.

     What are you doing about the soon coming promise of the Lord Jesus? Are you living like the ungodly men in Noah's days? Are you scoffing about it like Peter mentioned in 2 Peter 3: 3-6? Or, are you taking steps to prepare for the "glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ"?

     Friends, let's be wise about this matter! God has prepared an escape route for us in Jesus, just as He did for Noah's generation (the ark). Don't be foolish like the men of Noah's day who lived without concern for the threat of God to send rain to destroy their world.

    What you do now is to repent of your evil ways quickly, accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour and endeavor to live holy and righteous before God till Jesus comes.

    Let me warn you against Pastors who preach things that are meant to sustain you here on earth, without regard for your eternity. Beware of such preachers! Any preaching that ignores your eternal destiny is a trap! Nothing is as important as your eternal destiny for which you have to prepare now before it's too late

PRAYER:

Dearest Heavenly Father, it's obvious that the second coming of the Lord Jesus is at hand. Help me to live daily in expectation of this great day of the Lord, in Jesus name.
