THE ANSWER MAY DELAY, IT'S NEVER A DENIAL ( Part 3)

SONG

My God is able, He's able, I know,

He able, I know my God is able to carry me through.

TEXT

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." - Hab.2.3.

The Sovereignty of God is so unfathomable; man's faculty can not comprehend His Majesty. He laid out the foundation of the universe and placed all things in their proper places. He has also set an appointed time for every of His work. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" - Ecclesiastes  3:1.

He does them whenever the appropriate time comes. He is very meticulous in His dealings, He is never late or early and never fails. "He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." - Eccl.3.11.

All of God’s promises concerning you and I are for an appointed time and they shall surely come to pass. They may seem slow to materialized, but be patient because they will surely be made good. No matter how long it takes, God can not fail. Whatever God says must surely come to pass.

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" - Num.23.19.

Do you have expectations? Yes. Have you prayed and waited? Yes. Are the answers yet to come? Yes. This should not give reasons for fretting over anything, because everything is squarely under His control and for your good. And what is more, He has said  "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." - Jer.29.11.

When things don’t happen according to our timetable, we do not have to be discouraged or anxious or fretful.

It's never our duty to anticipate His careful or fretful, but to wait patiently for the fullness of time. His promises will surely speak at the end and not lie. Then, our long term expectation becomes manifestation.

Here is a word of encouragement to the reader of today's devotional. I  don't know how long you have been waiting for the answer to your prayer. Your time has come, God's time to favor you is now. It's our year of Performance. "For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him." - Job.23.14. You can never be disadvantaged while waiting on God, neither will you be disappointed in it; for it will fully answer as you keep believing and trusting Him. God is coming through for you, earlier than you expect. God showed up for the three Hebrew young men who did not give up on Him, even at the nick of a despairing hope. Also iin the matter of Lazarus whose case was far beyond human redemption, the Lord did not fall Mary and Martha.

We serve a God that is Able to bring great things out of nothing, making the impossible possible.

PRAYER

Lord, I believe in Your Word and promises. Thank You for working behind the scenes, all to bring into fulfillment your promises and my expectations according to Your Own timing in Jesus Mighty name.
