“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” - 2 Corinthians 4:13 says,
In the present state we find ourselves in the world today, we've got to line up our lives in agreement with what the Word of God says, not with what the world or the circumstances around us are saying. This is in line with my message on August 4, 2022, titled "YOU CAN HAVE WHATEVER YOU SAY."
The patriarchs and the saints of old were men of faith that trusted God in their walk with Him. For example apostle Paul and others had David's example to imitate. He said in Psalms 116:10, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken; so he leaves his example for them to imitate. Apostle Paul and others also believed, and therefore spoke (2 Cor 4:13).
Note, Faith is an effective antidote against fainting in troublous times.
You’ve been made victorious in Christ Jesus. This victory can only be maintained by your faith-filled words. It makes no difference what is happening around you, speak as a victor. Speak righteousness; speak success, speak glory and excellence.
Victors don’t talk fear, neither do they talk lack or weakness; they speak the wisdom of God. The Bible says in the book of 1 Corinthians 2:6 “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world...But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery…”.
Others may be gripping over the situation in today’s world, the global markets, world economies; the security challenges, the wars, the natural disasters, climate change and so on and so forth. None of these should move you, because you’re not of this world. You are the embodiment of God's glory, beaming light to the dark world. Isa.60.2-3 has this to say to us "For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising''.
In spite of these challenges in our time, let these be your confessions: When men are cast down, you’re to say, "I’m lifted". "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; I have a goodly heritage"; 'my prosperity is independent of circumstances'.
That’s how victors talk; they respond to challenging circumstances and situations with the Word; they say what God has said, no matter what the circumstances say.
PRAYER
I’m victorious always and in all things; fruitful, productive and effective in the ministry of the Gospel and in every other area of my life by the reason of what Jesus has done for me. Hallelujah!
