PLANT GOOD SEEDS IN THE GARDEN OF YOUR HEART!
SONG
In the garden of my heart, great things are growing. In the garden of my heart, flowers are blooming. In the garden of my, I create my future.
I say the right words everyday
I say the things I want to see. My words are like seeds I plant them in the garden of my heart.
TEXT
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. - Proverbs 23:7
The Bible is very clear about the way we should think. The way we think has the tendency of affecting the way we look, behave and do things.
No wonder the Bible says in Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."
The heart is so powerful. It's good we present out hearts to be taught of God so that we can produce good fruits. Let's not be carried away by the cares of the world so that our hearts will not be so infected by such and as a result produce unpleasant fruits.
The heart is likened to a piece of land. If someone gives you a piece
of land, it's your choice to plant anything or to leave it bare. A land that is left bare can not benefit the owner, but if cultivated, will yield good results.
If you want a good life, you have to invest what is good in your heart. The product of your life is as a result of what you have in your heart. There are many things out there that can not help us.
The dominant experience of your life is a reflection of the way you are thinking on the inside.
Instead of looking for a change to take place externally in your life and everything else around you, the first thing you need to do is recognize that change begins on the inside of you. Therefore you need to look deeply into the heart, to envisage the change you wish to see.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. - Philippians 4:8.
If you aren't experiencing the abundance and victory that
the Lord has promised, it's not God who has failed but you, because of your mind-set. Think of things that are edifying to your spirit, soul and body, you will be amazed at how glorious your life will be.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, my heart is dedicated unto you, that you take your abode, even as I plant your words every moment, cause it to yield great fruits in Jesus Mighty name.
