“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8 verse 19)
Knowledge is power. Knowing who you are and the purpose for which you were created is very important. This can serve to propel you to the top and to the place of your fulfillment.
The Bible says in the book of Genesis 1 verse 26,
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
The intention of God for man was for him to have dominion over all that He created. Man was created to rule and to dominate. Though the fall of man in the garden of Eden altered the process, thanks be to God Almighty for His redemptive reinstatement of man through Jesus Christ, His Son.
When Adam sinned and lost that dominion, Christ came to restore man back to a position that is far greater and better than the position that was lost. Hallelujah! He made us new creatures blessed with beautiful privileges and rights in Christ.
The book of John.10 verse 10 says, '...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Jesus came to give us abundant life; a life of purpose and fulfillment, nothing less. We've got to understand this so that we do not continue to wallow in ignorance.
The Scripture reading for today says “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
As a new creature in Christ, nations are eagerly waiting for your glorious manifestation having been created in the image and likeness of God. When you know who you are and what God has made of you, that He is with you, your thought life will change. God's will for us is to see ourselves as He sees us.
As new creatures in Christ, we are not ordinary. We are carriers of God's awesome grace and power. You have been packaged for awesome success and greatness in life.
As a covenant child of God, think the way God thinks about you. Stop thinking negatively about yourself. As long as you are in Christ Jesus, there is nothing you can not do. You have the spirit of God, the very Spirit of creation living on the inside of you. Yes, you have the Spirit of the Great I Am on the inside of you.
Daniel understood who he was in his generation. This accounted for why he made a huge difference in his generation. It will amaze you to learn that Daniel was relevant in the reigns of three to four Kings of Babylon.
Believe in who you are in Christ, confess it, and work towards it. Don't let the world stop you. Oftentimes, those that will stop you are very close to you. Refuse to be deterred by their opposition to your moves for advancement. You will make a difference in your generation if you remain steadfast. Soon, the whole world will celebrate with you for what God has made of you, in Jesus' Mighty name.
PRAYER:
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for making me in Your image and likeness and bestowing Your Glory on me. I confess that I'm manifesting Your glory in all areas of my life, in Jesus' Mighty name.
