TEXT:
"Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up." (Hosea 6 verse 1).
The most beautiful thing a child of God would do when confronted with the challenges of life is to turn to God, his maker. We have a perfect example in the person of the prodigal son who said to himself, "I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee," (Luke 15 verse 18).
Are you in despair this morning over all that is happening around you? Why not come boldly to the Lord with all of your broken heart and wounded spirit.
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4 verse 16).
He alone can heal all the troubles of your life, and He delights to do so. It is to our Lord’s gladness to bind up the brokenhearted and to heal all forms of diseases.
It's never the intention of our God to allow any situation to swallow us up.
"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (Hebrews 13 verse 5).
Just as a father can not allow his child to suffer pain unjustly when he has the ability to meet his need, so also our merciful God will not pull down our old house and then refuse to build us a better one The Bible says,
"Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up". (Hosea 6 verse 1).
Let us not linger at all but return unto the Lord from whom we have gone astray. Let us plead our cause before Him, showing Him all our wounds and beseech Him to perform His promises unto us.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for Your unflinching love towards me and for Your bowel of mercy, which is ever opened to have me back home in Jesus' name.
