LET NOT THE CARES OF THE WORLD STEAL YOUR JOY

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33
As we look at our world today, it seems to be so full of perplexity, as if there is no hope for tomorrow. So many people today, even Christians live under the oppression of fear and worry! Many are afraid of what tomorrow will be, they’re worried about the future, fearful about the present, and ashamed about the past. Christ foresaw all these things and gave His Word of consolation beforehand.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Glory be to the True and Holy God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who had lived through all eternity. Hallelujah.
He sent His only Begotten Son who condescended to the low estate of humanity, to taste of all that pertains to humans. He bore the course of our sins, the rod of our judgment and obtained for us liberty and freedom.
Ignorantly, on the part of them that do not know their God, the fear of what tomorrow would be emotionally keep them from becoming all that God has called them to be. But on the contrary, the one who knows his God is expected to be strong and to be full of exploits.
" And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." - Daniel 11:32
Jesus Christ came, so that those fears that paralyze the mind might be overcome. He is the Answer to every fear and worry. When He comes into our lives, our sins are forgiven. His grace brings peace, and joy into our hearts. Then we begin to experience the Supernatural Life of God, one that overcomes and conquers all challenges that appertain to humanity.
Accepting Jesus into your life today will make a great difference. Do not give the enemy a foothold, allowing him to create unnecessary anxiety in your life, because in Christ Jesus, we have the power to overcome, for He already overcame for us and made us more than conquerors. We can tell the world and the enemy, “I’m not letting you steal my joy!”
Today, let us make it our goal to live in the joy of Jesus Christ, trusting fully that He has changed not only our future; but the present as well, because He already overcame for us! Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Thank You Lord Jesus for having overcome the world for me and given me victory. I walk with this understanding and I'm forever grateful to the Lord, in Jesus' Mighty name.
