HOLD ON, DON'T GIVE UP, YOUR MIRACLE IS VERY CLOSE!

TEXT:

"Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath."  (John chapter 5 verses 8 and 9).

The miracle of the healing of the impotent man that had been at the pool of Bethesda and who was in that condition for 38 years, teaches us to be patient and to persevere in seeking our goals in life. The terrible ordeals he went through whilst at the pool, coupled with family abandonment didn't deter him. He waited despite his disappointments. He could have said shortly before Christ showed up: "there's no use; l shall never get into the pool; let me go home and die".

Then, he would have lost the chance of a wonderful miracle from Jesus! But he held on and his perseverance was graciously rewarded with a glorious cure by Jesus. We have much to learn from this.

That the Lord hasn't shown up for you now is not to mean that it has ended with you. Indeed, should you persevere and wait for Him like the impotent man, you would very soon be glouriously rewarded for doing so.

Waiting for God's time may seem time consuming and sometimes, tortuous. Yet, the Scriptures tells us how rewarding it can be:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah chapter 40 verse 31). Again, in Isaiah chapter 49 verse 23 , the Bible says that  "... they shall not be ashamed that wait for me."

God plans to give you an extra-oyou would very soon be gloriouslyrdinary miracle that will beat the imagination of all, including them that thought it was finished with you. Hold on, friend. Hasting out of God's presence or giving up too quickly can result in you missing out on God's best for you. That God has delayed shouldn't be interpreted to mean that he has denied your request. God is reputed to make all things beautiful at His own time.

Hold on, don't give up, your miracle is very close.

PRAYER

Dearest Heavenly Father, I thank you for being faithful and steadfast toward me. I refuse to quit and rather choose to wait on you for my miracle, which I believe is manifesting very soon, in Jesus' mighty name.
