GRACE TO CARRY ON (Part 3)

SONG

Complete, complete, complete in Him

I am Complete in Him

Complete complete, complete in Him

I am Complete in Him

TEXT

"And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." (John chapter 1 verse 16)

When the Bible says of His fullness, it literally means ALL of Him. In other words, as we receive the Holy Spirit, at conversion, we receive ALL of Him. Our humanity is supplanted by the life and nature of God. We become God’s living tabernacle. We are immersed in Him and He in us. Hallelujah!

  The Scriptures say,

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” (First John chapter 4 verse 17)

What God the Father did for the Church is a very wonderful mystery, making us complete representations and representatives of Christ here on earth. In Christ Jesus we have received in fullness everything that pertains to His Personality. All of His power, glory, dominion, strength and wisdom; everything He is, He owns and He represents, we have received!

There is fullness for us in all ramifications, according to the Scripture reading for today

"And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." (John chapter 1 verse 16)

All the promises of God are settled for us in Christ Jesus and are yes and amen. Hallelujah!

Taking advantage of all that Christ has done, we will discover that there is no area of our lives that is lacking of God's providence.

There is a fullness in regards to our salvation. In this regard, the Bible says, “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25)

There is a fulness of victory in His death, because "through death he destroyed him that had the power of death, that is the devil." (Hebrews chapter 2 verse 14)

There is fullness in His wonderful resurrection. The Bible affirms this saying,

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead," (First Peter chapter 1 verse 3)

There is a fullness in His glorious ascension. This, the Scriptures attests to saying,

"Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." (Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 8)

Let us therefore explore the grace of God in our everyday affairs, both in simple matters and in great matters; taking advantage of it always. Let us also depend on it for the wonderful result we get from it as it relates to our lives, ministry, work, family, business, and even in our academics.
