MEMORIZE AND CONFESS THESE SCRIPTURES AT LEAST THREE TIMES DAILY FOR YOUR MIRACULOUS HEALING. (PART 8)

INTRODUCTION

I'd said before now that divine healing is spiritual. That being the case, it's imperative that anyone seeking divine healing should see it as such. This will save us the whole lot of dilemma that's  attendant to not understanding what divine healing entails. One of such dilemmas is about the prevalent symptoms after being prayed for. The crucial question is, if I am healed, why am I still feeling the symptoms of the sickness?

To most of us, our expectation is that once the prayer of faith is said, it should invariably be accompanied with an instant positive answer, devoid of anything that supposes otherwise. But we know that praying the prayer of faith doesn't necessarily mean that the answer is soon felt. It's good to understand that God may choose to answer our prayer instantly or He may do it gradually. But one thing is certain, God will always answer the prayer of faith.

With regards to sickness, once the prayer of faith is offered, it's better to leave the rest of the case in the Hand of God. He determines the how and the when of the matter. Like I said, He may decide to do the healing instantly or by gradual process.

Scriptures teach that we do not consider symptoms. The Book of Jonah chapter 2 verse 8 reveals that

"They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy."

Like I pointed out at the outset, divine healing is spiritual. As God's children, we never observe symptoms. At best, symptoms are lying vanities.

In your quest for healing, once you have had a believer lay hands on you in accordance with the Lord's Word in Mark chapter 16 verse 17 and 18, it behooves you as a believer from that moment to see and declare yourself healed of the sickness. From that moment onward, refuse to consider symptoms. The same thing goes for your personal prayer of faith for your healing.

The prevalence of symptoms shouldn't bother the believer because faith declares that it is done according to God's Word. Spiritually speaking, to the one in Christ, the symptoms that you feel after you are prayed for are not real. They are like the walls of Jericho that looked imposing but were without foundations. Remember that it took just a shout to bring them down. In the same vein, a shout from your mouth by way of confession of God's Word is potent enough to dislodge them. Simply stated, symptoms belong to the realm of the senses and as God's  children, let's not forget that we are called to walk by faith and not by sensory perceptions. (2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7).

This brings us to the 8th Scripture in the series for confession. It is found in the Book of Romans chapter 8 verse 11.

It says as follows:

"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

First and foremost, the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer (1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19) Secondly, He dwells in us abundantly (Titus chapter 3 verses 5 to 6). One of the functions of the indwelling Spirit is His impartation of supernatural life and health to our physical bodies. The Holy Spirit is the One who gave life to Jesus' dead body in the tomb. Glory to God because that same Holy Spirit now dwelling in the body of each yielded believer is imparting to our mortal bodies the same kind of life that He imparted to the mortal body of Jesus. By implication therefore, the Life-Giver is currently resident in us, imparting the God-kind of life, a life that's far higher than the ordinary human life, into our mortal bodies.

As you confess this verse of Scripture (Romans chapter 8 verse 11), you are in effect putting the Holy Spirit to work in your mortal body, requesting Him to do what He's sent to do in you. The Scripture says that God "shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.". The use of the tense "shall" implies that the Holy Spirit will not neglect to do as it is written. Praise the Lord!

CONFESSION

Thank You Father because Your Spirit dwells in me. By the same Spirit that dwells in me, You quickened and raised Jesus from the dead. In the name of Jesus Christ, my mortal body receives life and is quickened, made alive, restored and healed by the Holy Spirit that dwells in me. By the same Holy Spirit dwelling in me, my body is set free now from sickness (mention the sickness in your body), in Jesus name.
