GOD WILL DO IT.
SONG:
Whenever you see me talk about Jesus. He's the owner of my soul. Whenever you see me talk about Jesus. He's the owner of my soul.
He's the owner. He's the owner,
He's the owner of my soul.
He's the owner. He's the owner,
He's the owner of my soul.
TEXT:
"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." (Thessalonians 5 verse 24)
That God is faithful is not debatable. His Words of comfort and assurance to His people can never fail. His faithfulness has been our security, so let us persevere to the end since He that has called us can not fail or disappoint us.
His kindness and love have appeared to us, calling us to the knowledge of His truth.
Certainly, God will do what He says to do. It will interest you to know that He desires to bless, heal, save, and establish you.
The Scripture verse for the day says,
"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." (Thessalonians 5 verse 24). God is faithful to effect and does exactly what He has promised to do. He is able to accomplish all the good pleasure of His goodness towards us.
When Jesus called His disciples, He told them to follow Him. "And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew 4 verse 19).
What He promised to make of them was what He did make of them. This was because of His faithfulness. Our God is a Promise Keeper. He has not called us unto shame but unto glory and to show forth His praise. The Lord has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, out of death because of sin unto eternal life through Christ Jesus. Only He can do this. Such perfection and preservation can only come from the God of all grace.
One thing about the faithfulness of God is that it's not only assuring, but guaranteed According to the Scripture reading for today, "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." (Thessalonians 5 verse 24). God's faithfulness will compel Him to do whatever He has promised to do. As God's children, this is so assuring and soothing because it gives us a sense of confidence and trust in Him. With this, we can rely on Him to do for us what He's promised. This is especially so when we consider that He's the God "that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"
Be rest assured therefore, dearly beloved that God will faithfully accomplish whatever it is that He's promised to do for you. It doesn't matter what may be going on with you at the moment. Wait for the accomplishment of His unfailing Word to you. Never let anything rob you of your confident repose in God's faithfulness. You will testify very soon, in Jesus name.
PRAYER:
Thank You Heavenly Father for being faithful to Your promises unto me. Thank You also for calling me out of obscurity to the limelight in order to show forth Your glory in Jesus' Mighty name.
