"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day" . Josh.10.13.

We serve a great and powerful God. He does great and mighty things that are past finding out. We are blessed to have such a great and wonderful Personality and to be called His own. Hallelujah 🙌.

 There are many natural, man made rules and laws which under normal circumstances should be taken into consideration before anything can be done.

From where we have read, the laws of nature were suspended or overruled supernaturally for a child of God who had God's backing.

The sun and the moon obeyed Joshua's command and remained in one place for a whole day. Science has acknowledged the fact that a day is missing from the time of creation till now. The sun stood still, and the moon stayed. Notwithstanding the vast distance between the earth and the sun, at the word of Joshua the sun responded positively and immediately.

Also, the Bible says in the book of Jas.5.17 that "Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months."

Here we understand that the prophet prayed that there should be no rain for a period of three years and six months and the Heavens hearkened. Nature had no other option than to obey the voice and command of a bona-fide child of God, for the Bible says that they know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits (Dan 11:32).

You and I are carriers of a better grace to speak and to decree whatsoever that we desire. Being a child of God automatically places you above nature, as the natural is subservient to the Supernatural.

God is positioning you to do something that you’ve never done before, to defy the odds, to go where no one in your family has gone, to break generational curses, to bring down giants, to set new standards. Don’t get discouraged when people don’t believe in you and try to talk you out of your dreams. Sometimes, It’s good to be underestimated or underrated by men. It may mean that God is about to catapult you to new levels.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for what you have made of me in Christ Jesus. I'm more than conqueror, an overcomer and a victor over every situation of life, in Jesus name. 🙏 🙏 🙏
