YOU NEED THE WORD AT A TIME AS THIS (Part 2).

 SONG

Into my heart, into my heart.

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.

Come in today, come in to stay.

Come into my heart, Lord Jesus.

TEXT

"Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all."  (First Timothy chapter 4 verse 15)

The ministry of the Word  imparts to us the power, wisdom and skills required to live a victorious life. It's great to be a student of the Word, by the continuous learning and meditation of it. This results in the Word growing mightily and prevailing in our lives.

With the current unpleasantness around the world we need to get closer to the Lord through His Word.

The Word of God in our spirit makes us a dominant species,  enabling us with the ability to conquer the circumstances that confront us in life. In other words, God's Word enables us to live victoriously over the satanic plots against us. Indeed, we can only prevail by the abundance of Word in our lives. The Bible says in the Book of Acts of the Apostles chapter 19 verse 20,

"So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed."

When we walk in obedience to the Word, it guarantees to us the fullness of joy in the Lord; and at the same time, it enables us to discover His incredible plans for our lives!

God indeed has incredible plans for all of His children, but Satan, the devil has blinded the minds of many from knowing the truth. We've got to pray that the hearts of men be opened to the Lord, and be guided to the Word of God, in the Name of Jesus.

Like what happened in the life of Lydia in the Book of Acts of the Apostles chapter 16 verses 14 to 15, when she heard the Word from the mouth of the Apostles, her heart was opened by the Lord.

"And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul."

Further to that, the entire household of this woman was saved. The truth is that when we give attention to the Word of God, our lives are not only transformed, but the Word produces in us the unspeakable things it talks about. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:

Lord God Almighty, I yield my heart unto You so that You fill it with Your Word, to the end that I prevail over the challenges of life, in Jesus name.
