TRUST IN THE LORD.

SONG

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.

TEXT

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." - Prov.3:5-6

If there is anything that the Lord cherishes, it is an attitude of absolute confidence and trust in Him. He often lavishes His blessings on those that put their hope and trust in Him. On the contrary, He is unhappy when His children put their trust in men or in idols.

The Bible says  "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." - Prov.3:5-6

GOD, is usually not pleased when we do not have faith in His ability to solve our problems. He wants us to have complete and absolute confidence in Him and in His promises. Whenever we are faced with a difficult situation, the Lord wants us not to look towards men for help but to look up towards heaven from whence comes our help. He is our very present Help in trouble.

God has promised to direct our path if only we can put our trust in Him.

Let us not make the mistake of trying to work Him into your schedule, but do make a decision to put Him first and work our schedule around our time with Him.

It is unwise to lean on the shoulders of carnal men.

It may be that your difficulties have been allowed to come in such an alarming way that you may be compelled to renounce all other aids, to which in lesser trials you have had recourse, and now to cast yourself back on your Almighty Friend, who never changes or fails.

The Bible tells us in the book of 2 Chr 14:11. "Lord, there is none beside thee to help."

Remind God of His promises and also of His avowed responsibility: “There is none beside thee to help.”

He has said in His Word,

"Put me in remembrance; let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right." - Isaiah 43:26.

It is always a good thing to remind God of His promises, because He can not lie and whatever He says, that is what He does.

"As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." - Rom.9.33.

"For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed". - Rom.10.11

"Whosoever believeth" means whosoever that put his trust in Him shall not be ashamed.

Our hope and trust in this Great and Awesome God can never result to shame but to testimonies. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Thank you Heavenly Father for being Who You are to me this day and ever more. My confidence in You shall never result to shame but rather to testimonies, in Jesus name. Amen.
