"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." - 1Pet.5.7

The only way that Christ can bear our load is for us to surrender ourselves unto HIM totally and to allow Him to exercise control of our lives.

 However, human beings are or can sometimes be very reluctant to allow God to have full authority over them.

The misleading image of having control of our circumstances gives us a false sense of security. But the truth is that until we allow our heavenly Father to manage our lives, we will always be ravaged by our problems, looking for the quickest solution or the easiest escape from our problems.

  Submission to the Lord means submitting our very selves to Him as well as giving our burden to Him, in order to take upon ourselves His yoke. This may sound like a contradiction.

But the yoke of Jesus Christ is very light, not like some new kind of weight. In fact, it is a symbol of the believer’s transformation.

 As our steps begin to align with His, our new yoke shifts the weight of our problems onto His shoulders.

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." Psalms 55:22

 He will never allow the righteous to be shaken, which means He is faithful to carry the weight and show us how to care for those affected by our burden. He will never suffer us to be moved; which is to say, that the situation will not overwhelm us, because He cares for us. Hallelujah 🙌

Trusting Him lightens every load.

PRAYER :

Lord, I thank you for being so concerned about me. I cast all my cares upon You. I am grateful for bearing them all for me in Jesus Mighty name. 🙏 🙏 🙏
