"And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,' (Isaiah14 verse 3).
Glory be to God Almighty for yet another year of His grace and mercy. Hallelujah!
This year, God has not promised us restoration, which connote putting things back to their former shapes. Rather, He says that He has given us
(1) "REST FROM ALL OUR SORROW." This is to say, in other words, that everything that makes us cry and all that gives us anguish of spirit are being taken away, in Jesus name.
(2) "FROM OUR FEAR." It also means God has taken away every fear, resulting from uncertainty and has put an end to the oppression of the enemy, in Jesus name.
(3) "AND FROM THE HARD BONDAGE WHEREIN THOU WAST MADE TO SERVE."
The children of Israel served under a very hard bondage in the land of Egypt. (see Exodus 1 verses 13 to 14).
When they cried unto the Lord in their affliction and distress, God heard from heaven and delivered them from the hard bondage to the end that they experienced REST all around.
The point I'm trying to make is this: there is a message God is passing across to someone regarding what he or she is going through right now. He is saying, ‘Do not fret, dear one, don't give worry a place in your heart. A time of rest from your sorrows, your fears, and the hard bondage under which you have been made to serve has come.’ (see Isaiah14 verse 3).
What are those burdens you are carrying in your heart? In what manner have you found yourself in any bondage? The Lord is saying this morning, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11 verse 28).
God has brought this theme to us at a time like this. It means He understands what we are going through, and that He is deeply concerned about us. He's prepared to put an end to every ugliness in our lives. Hallelujah!
If your case is that of joblessness, l say unto you that a fantastic job is coming soonest. If it's a delay in marriage; God is settling you down in your own home before the end of this year. It may also be the issue of no children. I prophesy that children are coming in without any further delay, in Jesus name
Whatever be the challenge you might be facing, cast your burden upon Jesus so that you might experience the rest that He has promised.
Don't give up on God as He is able to save you to the utmost. He knows all that you are going through, and He is your present Help in times of trouble. Therefore, cheer up and expect rest in every area of your life in this year, 2026.
PRAYER:
Thank You Lord for Your divine visitation this year to give me REST from the hard bondage under which I have been made to serve, in Jesus' Mighty name.
