LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS EMPTINESS
SONG
Jesus is everything, He's everything, He's everything to me, He's everything, He's everything to me. He's my Father, my Mother, my Brother and my Sister He's everything to me.
TEXT
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing..?-John 15:5
Many may find it difficult to agree with me on this point, that a life without Christ is usually full of crisis. The truth is that, we cannot really get along with our lives, unless and until we do that, which is most important: accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. Allowing Jesus to be the LORD of our lives is the greatest thing that anyone can do in order to experience and enjoy a crisis free life.
Be fully persuaded that without God’s active presence in our lives, we are most likely to fail so badly, because in Him we live, in Him we move and in Him we have our being (Acts 17:28)
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."-Psalms 16:11
The Psalmist tasted of God's goodness and was very confident in Him, he knew what he had enjoyed each time he was in His presence. In fact, the kind of fullness of joy described here can only be found in Christ Jesus.
So many out there appear happy and confident in the public. But beneath the surface, they are empty and frustrated. In fact, it is possible to be in a large crowd and yet still feel alone. Many are in the middle of the ocean, yet thirsty, some are sitting on a gold mine and yet they are hungry.
A lot of men and women see no meaning or purpose in life. Attempting to overcome the emptiness, some become busy, others turn to drugs or alcohol, and still others strive for more money, power, or love. Though pleasure might exist for so many, it is usually short-lived.
There’s a reason why life can feel empty: Man was created with a yearning that God alone is able to satisfy. Individuals cannot be fulfilled until they experience His transforming power and unconditional love.
Jesus said, He came that we may have life, and have it abundantly.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." - John 10:10
In other words, the Lord wants us to feel complete, which can happen only through a full and total surrendering in relationship with Him.
