I serve a God, Who never fails
I serve a God, Who never fails
I serve a God, Who never fails
Who never fails, Who never fails, forever more.
TEXT
"For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed." (Isaiah chapter 50 verse 7)
From my own life experience, I have come to terms with the fact that most times the help we need does not come from where we expect, but from where we least expected. So many times, I've prayed to get help from a particular source, but in the long run the help sprang forth from where I least expected. This is to prove God's Sovereignty over man's knowledge, reasoning and power.
God's help is more than anything we can think of. Whenever God takes over a situation, everything is over. The Book of Psalms 46 stanza 1 says that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
This implies that He carries all our burdens and supplies all that we can ever ask or think about. This is in line with what the Scriptures say in Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 20:
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"
Yes, God is "able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think." This is to mean that God can do things that are beyond our imagination for us. After all, we know that His ways are past finding out; neither can they be compared to any other.
In the matter of trust in God, the saints of old are good examples for us to follow. In line with Scriptures, they put their trust in Him and were not disappointed.
"As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 9 verse 33)
As we put our confidence in this great and wonderful God to help us, let's be assured that He will never fail us or disappoint us, in Jesus name.
PRAYER:
Lord, as I look up to You for help and assistance, may I receive Your intervention and may I never be disappointed, in Jesus name.
