"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. "- Prov 16:7
Do not be perplexed over what you are seeing and what you are hearing all around you. Let nothing move you except the Word of God. It is very important that we seek to establish a good and pleasant relationship with our God. On our part, let us ensure that we walk in agreement with Him, for He is interested in our well being. The main purpose for God creating us is for Him to have a cordial relationship with us, just like He had with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before the fall of man. Fellowship with God enables us to get acquainted with Him that we might live our lives to please Him.
The Bible says "When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. " Prov 16:7
What a great promise this is!
God can constrain an enemy to desist from his evil activity against the life of His child, even though he has a mind and means to do so. There are many examples in the Bible where God desisted and constrained the enemy from having his way over of His child.
Laban pursued Jacob but did not dare to touch him. " And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad." - Gen.31.24
" It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad." - Gen.31.29.
Again, He subdued the anger of Esau and made him become friendly with Jacob when they met at last. Jacob had dreaded that his brother Esau would smite him and his family with the sword. As a result, he entreated the Lord for favor before meeting Esau his brother and the Lord made his brother to be at peace with him.
" And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept." Gen.33.4.
God is able to make your enemies to be to you what the lions were to Daniel in the den. In the den, the lions became quiet and companionable unto Daniel. Besides, the Lord can also convert the anger of an adversary into pleasantness.
All that is required of you and I is to make sure we walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing (Colossians 1:10) As we do so, every other thing will certainly be taken care of by Him, including the unpleasant situation we find ourselves in our country. It shall surely work out together for our good, in Jesus mighty name.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for turning everything around for my good in Jesus Mighty name.
