HAVE A RIGHT ATTITUDE TOWARD LIFE.

SONG:

I give my heart away

I  give my heart away

So, You can use me

I give my heart away

TEXT:

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23).

To have the right attitude toward life means to approach life with a positive mindset. This can only be possible by having a correct attitude toward the word of God.That is when we can have all it takes to succeed in life.

There are some basic criteria for a successful Christian life, such as the way we think, speak, and act. All these and many others have some roles to play in our lives.

I want us to look at them one after the other.

 Thinking positively.

The Bible is very clear about the way we think. The way we think has the tendency to affect the way we look, behave, do things and what eventually becomes of us in life.

It is a good thing that we make conscious efforts to occupy our minds and hearts with good things because out of it are the issues of life. "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23).

The heart is a very powerful organ of the body. It's good we present it to be taught by God so that it can produce good fruits for our benefit and the benefit of others.

 Speak positively:

In the book of Romans, the Bible makes us understand that with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. " For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

(Roman chapter 10  verse 10)

It is expedient that we speak what we desire to see and refuse to cooperate with the unpleasantness that presents itself before or around us in life. For instance, God was not pleased with the bad shape of the Earth, so He decided to do something about it. What did He do?  He spoke positive words in line with what He desired in His heart and it came to be.

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light: and there was light." (Genesis  chapter 1 verses 2 to 3). The same applies to you and I. Refuse to cooperate with the unpleasantness around you. Instead, speak what you desire to see, and the LORD will l make it good. Refuse to give room to negativity.

The Bible rightly says in the book of Mark chapter 11 verse 24. "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

 Act positively:

When we talk about acting positively, we are talking about faith. The word faith is an action word. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." (James chapter 2 verse 26).

The men of old who acted upon the Word of God got positive results.

Noah acted upon the Word of God by building the Ark. By doing so, he was saved with his family from the flood.

"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." (Hebrews chapter 11 verse 7).

Abraham also, by faith, acted upon the Word of God by leaving his father and kindred to the land that God promised him, and it brought forth positive results.

"By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:" (Hebrews chapter 11 verse 7).

Let us be optimistic in our thinking, speaking, and acting, and we can be sure of positive results in our lives.

PRAYER:

I know what Christ has done for me, and what God has said concerning me, I believe it, and it is delivering results to me, in Jesus' Mighty name.
