HAVE A BLESSED SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR 2024

TEXT:

"Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness." (Psalms 65 verse 11, King James Version)

The faithfulness of God again stares at us all in the face! He has brought us so suddenly into the second half of the year 2024. This is in spite of all we've been through since the beginning of the year. In this second half of the year, let your mind be more focused on God Who alone has the power and authority to do you good. The Bible says,

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12 verse 2).

   No doubt, the adverse and deleterious circumstances we currently face are clearly satanic. They are meant to impede our faith in the Lord. But with the Lord on our side, we remain more than conquerors, overcomers and victorious! Don't slack therefore when it comes to serving and seeking the Lord. I notice that in the light of the present economic trauma or downturn, people find it difficult to attend Church events and services. Don't forget that the Bible refers to these times we are in as dangerous and perilous times (2nd Timothy 3 verse 1). The times are dangerous not only due to the deception that abounds, but also because of the difficulties and hardships that satan has orchestrated against this present generation, to the end that men may lose faith in God. Refuse to be a victim of this satanic plot.

     Remember nevertheless that God Who knows the end from the beginning has earmarked 2024 as our year of New Things. Believe Him! Be full of faith! Be ambitious! Have specific goals in mind, work towards them prayerfully and Jehovah will surprise you.

     According to W. Clement Stone,

"There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.”

    Again, only few people understand that ambition and faith are inseparably related. On ambition, Ralph Waldo Emerson has the following to say:

    "Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it. The man who knows how will always have a job. The man who also knows why will always be his boss. As to methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have troubles."

 As you follow these tips on attitude and ambition, I'm confident that the Lord will crown the year 2024 for you with His goodness. Have a very blessed second half of the year 2024, in Jesus' name, amen.

PRAYER:

Dearest Heavenly Father, thank You for the first half of the Year 2024. I am confident that You would not bring me into the second half of the year 2024 if You had no plans for me. Thank You for seeing me through all the difficulties that came my way from the beginning of the year and for helping me to fulfill my life's ambitions. I believe that You will eventually crown the year for me with the abundance of Your goodness, in Jesus name
