A NEW DAWN (Part 2)
SONG:
This is the day, that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. I will rejoice, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, another day that the Lord has made.
TEXT:
"Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh." (Genesis chapter 41 verse 14)
"Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou...See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt."
(Genesis chapter 41 verses 40 to 41)
A new dawn has come upon you that is reading the devotional this morning. I may not know how God is going to do it, but I'm convinced in my spirit that new things that call for celebration are springing forth in your life, my brother or sister, in Jesus' Mighty name.
When God decides to pick someone's call, all accusations stop, the limitations cease from operation, causing a breach of protocols regarding that life.
From our Scripture reading for today, we saw Joseph as a convict, who was kept in prison awaiting judgment. The enemy probably had concluded his case, that Joseph would never again experience freedom. On this fateful morning, Joseph woke up as a convict, but before the end of the day, he became a free citizen, and not only that, he was appointed the Prime minister of Egypt. Hallelujah.
You might have woken up this morning as a nobody, in hopelessness, and not knowing where the next meal will come from. You might even be thinking of ending it all. No matter what your situation is, there is hope for you in Christ Jesus. He is doing a new and a glorious thing in your life, this day and beyond, in Jesus' name.
The Bible says, "Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh." (Genesis chapter 41 verse 14)
Joseph was not expecting his freedom, let alone his promotion to such a high position in Egypt.
Although Joseph had been interpreting dreams from childhood, on this fateful day, his life's story changed.
He interpreted Pharaoh's dream and it brought about the change of his story. As the Bible says in Proverbs 18 verse 16,
"A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men."
The Lord had blessed the boy Joseph with the gift of interpretation of dreams. With the said gift, Joseph had the answer to Pharaohs problems. I prophesy that you shall have the answers to the problems of the great men of your generation, in Jesus name. With God's gift at work in his life, Joseph was supernaturally lifted from the prison to the palace. In the name of Jesus Christ, before the end of this year you are the next person that God will turn your story around supernaturally for good, in Jesus name.
PRAYER
This morning, the Almighty God is causing His goodness to rest upon my life and the lives of my loved ones, thereby changing our stories for the best, in Jesus Mighty name.
