HAPPY NEW YEAR!

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43 verses 18 and 19, King James Version)

Welcome to the new year! It's your year of new things. God has promised to do a new thing in your life. He will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He did it before and He can still do it for you. God has said that this is the time He will act on your behalf.

     As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you might probably not have experienced things that accord to your new status. Perhaps, despite your new status in Christ, but for one reason or the other, satan has continued to hold sway over your life, so much that men do ask you "where is your God?" Should that be your case, I tell you today to rejoice because in this new year, God will give you a new song to sing, in Jesus name. Hear Him:

 "I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once." (Isaiah 42 verse 14)

     The Lord has said that you should forget and not remember the things of old anymore because He's about to do a new thing in your life.

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; ... " (Isaiah 43 verses 18 to 19)

 In actual fact, as a new creation in Christ, you ought to enjoy new things and not the things of old. The things of old accord to your former status before you became born again. It's an error for the things of old to be associated with a new creation in Christ, just as it's impossible for new things to be associated with one who is still in the old nature and has not experienced the new birth. The Lord Jesus had categorically stated in Matthew chapter 9 verse 17 saying,

"Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.".

     Welcome again to the new year! Congratulations to you because you will henceforth begin to manifest in accordance with your status as a child of God. Henceforth, men will no longer be asking you "where is your God?" In this year 2024, men will congratulate you and celebrate you for the marvelous new things that will show up in your life, in Jesus name.

In this year 2024, the Lord is doing new things in my life to His glory and they are springing forth for all to see, in Jesus name.
