TEXT

"And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him." (Genesis chapter 18 verse10)

"For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him." (Genesis chaper 21 verse 2)

There is much to talk about this Great and Mighty God that we serve. There is absolutely nothing  that He can not do.

He is a wonderful God. He is not a man that is hindered by limitations. On the contrary, our God is limitless.

The supremacy of God, makes  all to submit to Him. Every time He shows up, all bow in adoration and worship to His Majesty.

His Word is powerful and commands respect. He has respect for His Word above His Names. Whenever He says a thing, He watches over it to bring it to pass. Hallelujah!

God had said to Abraham and to Serah as we read from today's Scriptures, saying, "I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son."

In Genesis chapter 21 verse 2, we see God fulfilling His promise to them, notwithstanding that both were advanced in age.

The Bible says Abraham and Serah were stricken in age at the time God visited them. Their ages were never a problem to God Almighty. The power and the might of God can not be compared to any; neither can it be truncated by nature or anything for that matter. The Bible says,

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," (Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20).

GOD'S promise to Abraham was that his children would go to a strange land and after many years, He would bring them back to the land promised to him. (Genesis chapter 15 verses 13 to 14)

God indeed brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and settled them in the promised land after so many years of slavery; just as He had said unto Abraham.

At the end of Joshua's life on earth, he had the following to say about God's faithfulness,

"And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof."

God has not changed. He remains the faithful God that He's ever been. Be rest assured dear child of God that what He's promised to do, He'll do. Do not lose hope because whatever He has said concerning you must surely come to pass. Though its fulfillment is prolonged, wait for it because it will surely come to pass. The Bible says in Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 3 as follows:

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

PRAYER

Thank You faithful Redeemer for Your promises concerning me. They are yes and amen, in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
