TEXT

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (Jeremiah 29 verse 11)

Since the swearing in of the new government, so much has been going on in our nation and in our world. Stress, tension, and emotions are high, this can be tracked particularly to the rise in fuel price and some other things. The rise in the price of fuel is most likely to affect, or it's already affecting the economy and every aspect of the citizens' lives. There is so much discouragement, disagreements, and divisions than ever. Hurt goes deeper than we can ever imagine. Resentments are alarming. No one knows what is going to be the next line of action from the government and the citizens.

The majority feel that this new government has started on a hash tone. Truly, it seems as if times are hard. Struggles seem to be looming around every corner. Everyone seems to be in a season of wondering or grieving from recent happenings.

      But in all that we may be facing, or going through in our lives, or in our nation, there is light at the end of the tunnel, there is hope for us, who are called by His Name, because the Bible says in the book of Romans 8 verse 28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

God has constantly set His reminders in our day to day life and all around us, about the truth of His Word and the overwhelming message of His unfailing love towards humanity.

This great love was what brought Jesus down from Heaven to Earth.

 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3 verse 16)

  I would like to advise that our gaze as children of the Most High should constantly be upward and Heavenward; ["Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."  (Hebrews 12 verse 2.) rather than looking down or all around at everyone else. Some may even take to social media in search of answers or solutions to the issues around.

 Looking at screens, or at every news headline, can not really provide any answer, so to speak.

  Jesus is the only Answer. He says,

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11 verse 28)

  God is perfectly on the throne, watching, and waiting. He always arrives to save at the nick of time. His love and care for humanity would not allow Him to overlook us at the hour of peril. He will always come to save. HALLELUJAH!

PRAYER:

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your thoughts towards us. There are so many who need the healing of Your love in their lives. We pray that You come through for us in Jesus' Mighty name.
