BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

 SONG :

The steadfastness of the LORD never ceaseth.

His mercies never come to an end

They are new every morning, new every morning.

Great is thy faithfulness O Lord. Great is thy faithfulness.

TEXT :

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalms 46 stanza 10)

As we look and see evil happening all over the world, especially what is happening in our country Nigeria; as we think of the apparent triumph of wrong-doing; as we have our heads lowered beneath the oppression of those that hate us, let us remember these marvelous words about God being still and beholding all that transpires.

It may look as though God is not concerned about the unpleasant situation.

No, that is not true! We have the most GRACIOUS, most MERCIFUL and CARING FATHER who is ever waiting and watching to do us good at the nick of time.

He is never too early or too late.

His silence does not mean that He is consenting to the evil that is happening.

He is merely biding His time, and will arise in the most opportune moment when the designs of the wicked seem on the point of success, almost overwhelming the  children of God with disaster, then God shows up.

He has His finger on thy pulse, keenly sensitive to all its fluctuations. He will come to save us when the precise moment has arrived.

He says in His word:

"Be  strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." (Deuteronomy chapter 31 verse 6)

His word is ever true because He can not lie.

He will surely show up for us as a nation and as individuals at the appointed time and our testimonies will be greater than we can ever imagine, in Jesus name. 🙏 🙏 🙏

PRAYER.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for being always with me, beholding from Thy Holy place, waiting to do me good, in the Mighty name of Jesus.
