ARE YOU READY FOR NEW THINGS?

SONG

I know, He will never, ever fail me

I know, He will never, ever fail me

I know, He will never, ever fail me

I know, He will never, ever fail.

TEXT

"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful." - (Revelation chapter 21 verse 5 )

Today's Scripture may seem to be pointing at what we may experience in Heaven, but it may also interest us to know that God desires that we have a taste of Heaven here on Earth.

The question goes this way, how ready are you for the new things that are coming your way this year? I want to advise you to be optimistic and expectant about what God has said He will do. For the Bible says, "For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off." - (Proverb chapter 23 verse 18)

One thing is certain, God can not lie. Whatever He says, that is what He does. Let God see that you truly believe in Him and His Word concerning this year, and you will see everything playing out just as He had said.

Our receiving will very much depend upon our trusting Him with all of our heart, throwing all our hope and courage into action. If we are doubtful, we may not be able to partake in the fullness of the blessings of this year.

We must believe the Lord with care and thoughtfulness coupled with trust and a ready heart to receive. It's never good to pick and choose what we will believe as far as the Word of God is concerned, but we must take the Lord’s promises as they come, hook line and sinker. Ours is to trust without wavering neither to the right nor to the left.  With trust, there will come spiritual and physical prosperity.

Our God has promised us new things in this new year. It is expedient that we believe, because whatever we believe is what will work in our lives.

Someone once said this "those whose expectations are from God may wait with assurance but must wait with patience and also with the right and positive attitudes, in readiness to receive what they desire." So we've got to wait with the right attitude, if we want to experience new and glorious things this year.

PRAYER:

Even as I have heard, so shall I see and enjoy this year, in Jesus Mighty name.
