YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON GOD.[Part 2]

SONG

I'm not moved by what I see. Hallelujah!

I'm not moved by what I hear.

Hallelujah!

I'm only moved by the Word of God.

Hallelujah!

I'm only moved by the Word of God

TEXT

"They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which can not be removed, but abideth forever." - Ps.125.1.

The Lord is round about His people on every side as the Scriptures have rightly said. There is no gap or opening in the hedge of protection that God has made around about His people. The enemy, who goes about seeking to do the  children of God mischief, can not find any entrance therein. Hallelujah!

Is it possible for us not to be easily moved by the challenges that we face on a daily basis? Can we arrive at a place where nothing can upset us or disturb our calm? Emphatically yes, this can be possible, depending upon the kind of relationship we have with our God. Many of us have come a long way with God, and some challenges and situations may not move us as such. Also, we know that some of us are quick to react negatively to some challenges and situations of life.

Whatever may be the case, it is advisable that our dependence be on the Lord alone. Let us not indulge ourselves in any other confidence that is not grounded on the Rock of Ages. If we make the mistake of losing focus on God, then our confidence will become bad, which can result in a great ruin and, in the end, results to our sorrow and confusion.

When God is in a marriage, home, or is in the midst of a kingdom or city, He makes it as calm as Mount Zion, that can not be removed. When He is in the midst of a soul, though challenges confront it, yet there is a deep calm within, a kind of peace that the world can not give or take away.

The Bible says that "There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early." - Ps.46.4 - 5.

If we allow God to have His way in our lives, we will discover that nothing will move us easily. Fret, wear or tear of life, no matter how great, will never have the power to move us from the peace of God that passeth all understanding. Hallelujah!

PRAYER.

Thank you Heavenly Father, for your Word is true and worthy to be trusted. I'm only moved by what it says and what it does in Jesus' mighty name.
