WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
"For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off " - Proverbs 23:18
This is to welcome everyone reading this devotional to the month of October 2022. It is the tenth month of the Gregorian calendar, consisting of 31 days. In the Bible, the number ten signifies human perfection. The human number is completed at ten. For example, there are ten fingers to the hands and ten toes to the feet.
I perceive very strongly in my spirit that in this month of October, the Lord is perfecting His plans and purposes for someone, in Jesus' mighty name. Do you have an expectation from God? Is there anything in your life that has become the subject of your hope and aspiration? God's Word assures us that such will not be cut off but shall be fulfilled, even in this month of October, in Jesus name.
Friend, l counsel you to hang on to God and not be weary, neither be faint hearted; for this great God has been tested by men of past and present generations and found to be true! He will forever be found true by those who put their trust in Him. Dare to trust this Jehovah-God! He has an impeccable record of being faithful!
It does not matter what is on the ground now! What matters is what God will do about it. Still, it doesn't matter that the year is running out and soon, another year comes around. It doesn't really take God anything to do something. Besides, with Him, all things are possible. The story of Joseph in the Bible is a reminder of God's ability to do all things. Joseph was a prisoner in Egypt, but suddenly, the day came, and that day wasn't peculiar in nature, but it was like every other day, when God returned his captivity and he was elevated to the position of Prime Minister of Egypt. Then, every one that had ill-treated him, including Potiphar and his lying wife became subject to him that was once their slave. How sweet it was for Joseph! So shall it be with you, this month of October, in Jesus name. On the particular day of your miracle, you will wake up, perhaps with nothing in your bank account, but before the end of the day, you are hundreds of millions of Naira rich, in Jesus name. I pray that you don't forget to pay your tithes!
In another instance, in the kingdom of King Ahasuerus, things looked very dismal for the Israelites that were there in captivity. But suddenly, God raised Esther, a captive, to be queen; and that became the end to all their fears and problems. I prophesy that you are the Esther that God has anointed in this month of October to deliver your family, in Jesus name.
Finally and most importantly, l charge you to remain in Christ and never to give up! Your story will be written with gold in the annals of your generation, in Jesus name. You will be proud to call the Lord your God when He finally turns around your captivity. Once again, you will stand tall in the midst of your peers, testifying to the faithfulness of God, in Jesus name. Let me make this point very clear to you: God loves you and wants the very best for you. He has no favorites amongst His children. The fact that you are in Christ qualifies you for the best of times here on earth and in heaven; so, congrats my friend. You shall definitely testify to His verity and goodness, in Jesus name.
