THE TIME FOR GOD TO WORK HAS COME.
SONG
It's me, it's me o Lord
Standing in the midst of prayer
It's me, it's me o Lord
Standing in the midst of prayer.
TEXT:
"And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore." (First Samuel 1 verse10).
Have you ever prayed and prayed over some kind of situation, and you got tired of praying? Have you ever cried and got tired and out of tears?
Those are moments that your swollen eyes don't count because the currents of unrest and anxiety are still gushing through the soul with utter frustration.
This is not peculiar to you alone. It's so with everyone that is on the path of life, of which I am also not exempted.
In a similar manner, I have gone through some unbearable challenges many times. It will also interest you to know that the Bible is a catalog of men and women who have gone through many things in life, both good and bad. Yet, God in His infinite mercies came through for them all.
I have good news for you this morning. The time for God to work in your life has come. Hallelujah. The Lord is taking over everything that gives you sleepless nights, everything you have ever hoped for is coming to manifestation in Jesus' Mighty name.
Our point of reference this morning is on the story of Hannah, the mother of Prophet Samuel.
"And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore." (First Samuel 1 verse10)
Hannah was a woman who was so provoked and irritated by her mate. Indeed, she went through unpleasant circumstances not only from her mate, but also by the things that were happening around her. Many questions would have gone through her mind, whether it was her sins that were responsible for her predicament or not. She suffered silently in this predicament for many years.
In her deep anguish, she sought the face of the Almighty. In her sorrow, she poured out her heart unto the Lord. (First Samuel 1 verses 12 to 13). Right in His presence, amidst her trials, the Lord showed up for her. Hallelujah! In verse 17 of 1st Samuel chapter 1, Eli the Priest answered and said, "Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him."
The man of God prophesied that the God of Israel had granted her request. Today, I prophesy that whatever may be your request, God is showing up for you as you seek solace in His presence, in Jesus name. I believe that your testimony shall be great in Jesus' Mighty name.
PRAYER:
Thank You Heavenly Father for always showing up for me at every crossroad of my life. I'm grateful for all the victories you have wrought for me, in Jesus name.
