It's something more than gold.

"That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man" -  Ephesians 3:16

When the Holy Spirit comes to take His abode in us, we cease to be ordinary beings. His presence on the inside of us makes us supermen! This is exactly what the message of Apostle Paul in our Bible reading for today says.  He wrote and prayed that God’s people be “strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man.” The word “strengthened” means to be invigorated with ability.

  From our previous message, I said the Holy Spirit is the Head of the present dispensation, the dispensation of Grace.

  NOTE: It was by the Power of the Holy Spirit that God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt in the time of old.

"He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes." - Ps.105.37.

  The Bible tells us that none of the children of Israel when they were brought out of Egypt and headed for the Promised Land, was feeble (Psalm 105:37). 

 There was no need for any to be carried by another due to the weaknesses of the body. They were divinely empowered with strength and agility as they journeyed. It’s the same with us today, and it's even better. Now that we are born again and are baptized in the Holy Ghost, a much greater grace is bestowed on us by the Power of the Holy Ghost

"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." ,- Rom.8.11.

Having received the Holy Spirit, our mortal body has been quickened and made alive. We can live without any form of weakness in our body. Romans 8:10 tells us also that since Christ now lives in us, even if our body has been ravaged by sickness and disease, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness. 

Many have received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, but they haven’t understood this truth; they haven’t been taught that the Holy Spirit has the power and ability to do great things inside of them. But if we  do not have this understanding, it’ll not be made real in our lives. That’s why you find many Christians functioning below capacity.

We need to be more conscious of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, of His power and glory in you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

I have the Holy Ghost dwelling in me. Therefore, no weakness or sickness is traceable to my body. The embodiment of God's glory dominates and strengthens me always, in the name of Jesus.
