IN GOD'S PRESENCE ALWAYS  (PART 1).

TEXT:

"And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word." (1st Kings 17 verse 1, King James Version).

Some years ago when I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus, I made up my mind that like it was with Elijah in the Scripture reading for today, I would endeavor to be in God's presence always. I had said to myself that if unbelievers could pray five times a day, why not me? Again, I said, if Elijah could do it, I should be able to do it, especially given that I'm in a better dispensation than he was. It's worthy of note that being always in God's presence was the way of life of Elijah (see 1st Kings 17 verse 1, 18 verse 15; 2nd Kings 3 verse 14, 5 verse 16). Any wonder that God used him mightily?

Someone would wonder how it's possible to be in God's presence always; God being in heaven and we being here on earth. It's very possible. Like I said, it was possible with Elijah (see 1st Kings 17 verse 1, 18 verse 15; 2nd Kings 3 verse 14, 5 verse 16). For instance, in 1st Kings 17 verse 1, when Elijah spoke to King Ahab, he addressed him this way: “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word”.  In effect, he was saying that although he was standing before Ahab, he was also (right then) standing in the presence of Almighty God.

It was equally so with Jesus. In John 1 verse 18, the Lord Jesus declared saying, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." In effect, the Lord Jesus was saying that although he was on earth speaking these words, He was at the same time "in the bosom of the Father" in heaven. In the same vein, in John 17 verses 11 to 12, the Lord Jesus spoke to the disciples as though He wasn't in the world any longer, despite that He was physically present with them.

In Colossians 2 verse 4, Apostle Paul affirmed the possibility of one being at two different places at the same time when he said,

"For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ."

Also in 1st Corinthians 5 verse 3, the beloved Apostle to the Gentiles wrote to the Corinthian Church when it was reported that a man in the Church had slept with his father's wife saying,

"For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,"

Much as the principle of superimposition, being at the same place at the same time sounds incredulous, it's something very possible which God's Children ought to be aware of. Unfortunately, witches, wizards and other agents of the dark world know it too well and take advantage of it to perpetrate evil.

The principle of superimposition (that is to be at two different places at the same time) is well known in Science. It's a well established principle of Quantum physics! In Quantum physics, superposition means that a quantum system (like an electron, photon, or atom) can exist in multiple possible states at the same time—until it is measured or observed. For example, let’s say a particle can be in either State A or State B.

According to superposition, the particle doesn't have to choose between them—it can be in a combination of both A and B at once. This is Science explaining to us what Elijah, the Lord Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul knew and practiced.

The principle of superimposition is not witchcraft, but simply one that is borne out of the recognition of God's Omnipresence and His children responding to Him in that state. It's one borne out of the fact that the human being can function both in the physical and in the spiritual realms at the same time. It's a principle that God wants His children to know and live by. For instance, in Ephesians 2 verses 5 to 6, the Bible says that,

"Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, God wants you to know that wherever you are and whatever you might be doing right now, you are simultaneously sitting together with other saints in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This is wonderful and for me, this idea has revolutionized my faith and effectiveness in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! I've applied this principle in my prayer life and during deliverance sessions and it worked beautifully to the glory of God!

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for making it possible for me to fellowship with You despite that I'm right here on earth. Thank You also for teaching me to function perfectly in the realm of the spirit.
