TEXT

" He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." - Ps.91:1.

At a time like this, we've got to meditate upon a very important and relevant Scripture as Psalm 91. We need to remind ourselves and also agree with God on what His Word says.

The Scripture above serves to inform us of the consequence of dwelling, abiding or remaining in Christ, He is the secret Place of the Most High. As we "dwell" in Christ, the secret "Place" of the Most High, we are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, and we can be rest assured that we are saved from the evil of the moment.

The psalmist highlighted the benefits of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. This is to say that as we do so, we live under the protective care of God. In other words, we are delivered from the evil arrows and darts of the wicked. In consequence thereof, victory, peace and long life are guaranteed in every aspect of our lives.

This testimony is the same as that of the Israelites whom the Lord protected and shielded from the dangers that were attendant to their wilderness experience. He saw them through many difficulties until they got to the Promised Land. Our God is able and willing to protect us from all dangers if we can solemnly entrust ourselves unto Him.

For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; let us then dwell in closest fellowship with him.

"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." - Acts  17:28

As we learn to live in the presence of the living God, we pray that this day and always, we may be found in Him.

PRAYER

Almighty and Wonderful Father, I run to You with open arms. I was fearful of many things, but through You I have begun to lose my fear, because You are my Refuge and Strength. Hallelujah.
