GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME; HE CAN'T DO THE WRONG.

You are Who You are, yesterday, today, and forevermore

What You say is what You do...

TEXT

"For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will come, it will not tarry." (Habakkuk 2 verse 3").

Dear child of God, though the fulfillment of God's promises may be prolonged, wait for it because it will surely come to pass. As the Scripture for today rightly says,  "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will come, it will not tarry." (Habakkuk 2 verse 3")

Each soul, at one point in time, encounters challenges, be it sorrow, doubt, or the weight of worldly cares. We have examples like the trials faced by David, who fled from Saul and dwelt in caves and valleys; like Joseph, on the other hand, who suffered injustice in the prison of Egypt. These and more are similar challenges we encounter on a daily basis, and they serve to shape our character and refine our faith in the Lord.

In the midst of various trials and tribulations, the Lord very often provides strength which sustains us at the needed point in time. Just as the Israelites found refuge under the wings of the Almighty in the wilderness, so too we can find solace in His presence during our darkest hours.

Looking at the story of Job, in the midst of challenges, he declared his unwavering trust in the Lord. He clung to the faithfulness of God. His trials were many, yet he proclaimed, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” (Job 13 verse 15)

It's great to keep our trust in the Almighty even when the tempest rages around us. There were many times when my own faith was tested, and I felt like throwing in the towel; yet God's strength upheld me at that time and even now. It's usually not a palatable experience, but with God by your side, victory is certain. Hallelujah!

One great lesson I have learned from my life experience is that God never fails. Though His time frame may not be the same as ours, He will always be there to show up for His children. God, at this trying moment, might be testing your faith to see if you can hold on to the end. It is usually in the darkest of nights that the stars shine the brightest. It's when all hopes seem gone that He often shows up.

For instance, the Lord showed up for Abraham after Lot had chosen the portion of land that seemed pleasant. In the book of Genesis 13 verse 14 to 15, the Bible records as follows:

"After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. [15] I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession." (The New Living Translation). In the same vein, what looks like a disappointment to you may indeed be an open door to you.

I pray that the Lord will open your eyes to see far and clearly well because God has chosen to do you good this second half of the year 2025, in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for doing in my life that which is pleasing in Your sight. I know that You can never do the wrong in Jesus' mighty name.
