TEXT: Hebrews 10:25, 12:22-24

Many do not understand what the Church represent. It is a gathering of ourselves and heaven in attendance (see Hebrews 12:22-24). Where else should a soul desire to be, especially a heaven bound soul? You cannot desire to be in heaven and despise being in Church. Such a one should forget about making heaven his ultimate place of abode. The Church, among other things, is our preparation ground for heaven. After all, the Church and not the world will be raptured at His appearing! Go to Church today and be taught how to remain rapturable.

The importance of corporate worship cannot be overemphasized! - Hebrew 3:12-13. Jesus took advantage of it and made it His manner of life - Luke 4:16. Same with Apostle Paul - Acts 17:2. But some made it a manner of life to forsake the assembling together of the saints, which Apostle Paul spoke against – Hebrew 10:25. Today, despite the warning of the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul and the overwhelming evidence of the benefits of fellowship, so many saints without due reason absent themselves from the house of God! If Christ loved the Church so much as to die for it, it behoves us to reciprocate His kindness by showing respect for it, attending it and supporting its wellbeing.

PRAYER

Dearest Heavenly Father, thanks be unto you for the Church of your First Begotten Son and for the privilege to fellowship with you, the hosts of Heaven and with the saints on earth. I pray that each time I go to Church, you teach me to live a life on earth that is pleasing unto you and eventually for heaven, in Jesus name
