"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report." (Hebrew chapter 11 verse 1 to 2)
As we dwell on the concluding part of the topic, 'GET A TOKEN". We will be looking at the word "Faith'.
Faith, as the Bible rightly defines it, "is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Your faith in God and His Word can turn your dreams into absolute reality, for God is able to do far more than we would dare to ask or even dream of.
I once defined faith in one of my messages "as an unshakable persuasion, and expectation that God will perform all that He has promised concerning us." Faith is seeing your expectations becoming realities and taking possession of them.
The question is what are your expectations this year? What is the token you have gotten from God concerning your life this year? Your unshakable persuasion, and expectation that God will perform all that He has promised concerning your life this year is what will deliver results.
Do you care to be an outstanding winner? Then you must possess the Spirit of faith. Let it be like fire shut up in your bones, propelling you to dare what others are afraid of. The Spirit of faith sets you ahead of others, because you know who you are and what God has said concerning you. Let God’s Word become so rooted in your life that even when others give up, you continue to go higher because there is something you possess on the inside which is not in others.
That Spirit of faith was what helped the men of old to obtain good reports as they followed God steadily.
"For by it the elders obtained a good report." (Hebrew chapter 11 verse 2)
In other words, the Spirit of faith imparts grace to keep us moving with God's plan and purpose, so that even when others are giving up, we keep moving on.
PRAYER
I receive abundant grace to believe every Word of God that I hear. Like the men of old, I obtain a good report in Jesus Mighty name.
