BRING ALL TO JESUS, FOR HE CARES (Part 2).

SONG:

Jesus can do all things

O yes,

He can do all things

O yes

TEXT:

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you..." (First Peter 5 verses 6 to 7)

There are different ways by which we can bring our burdens unto God. Many out there do not know how to do that.

The following are some of the different ways by which we can bring our burdens unto God.

THROUGH PRAYER

You can engage in earnest prayer, pouring out your heart before the Lord. As we see in the book of First Samuel 1 verses 9 to 10,

"So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk...And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore."

Here, we see how she rose up in her anguish, with prayer and supplications, bringing her burdens to God. Her prayers rose as sweet incense unto God, prompting His quick response. What specific burdens are you going through? Bring it and lay it at His feet and you'll be amazed at His response to you.

 THROUGH FELLOWSHIP

The Bible says, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews.10 verse 25).

Fellowshipping with other believers can serve to ease our burdens. When we come together and we exhort one another, we get strengthened. Sharing our struggles and joys with ourselves, especially considering the similarities of our struggles and how the Lord intervened to alleviate them serves to uplift one another's spirit. Truth is, when we walk alongside each other, our mutual faiths are built up. Proverbs 27 verse 17 confirms that  "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."

THROUGH GRATITUDE

Cultivating a heart of thankfulness amidst our challenges and recognizing His blessings over the challenges at hand can serve to shift our focus from the burdens around us unto to God's grace. The Book of Philippians 4 verse 6 says, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

I have discovered that when we turn our worries over to God in praises, with thanksgiving, that is when God shows up the most.

Fellow pilgrim, what is the burden you are bearing?  Instead of worrying about it, why don't you try to bring the Lord praise? You will be amazed at what God will do for you in response.

PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father, I bring all my cares unto You with praise. Thank You for showing up for me in Jesus' Mighty name 🙏
